Serena Madar
I graduated from Brandeis University, cum laude, with a B.A. in English and American Literature, where I was a starting infielder on the varsity women's softball team. I worked for a few years before attending law school at New England Law Boston where I graduated magna cum laude, was a New England Scholar, a member of the Law Review, and the recipient of the West Group Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award. I have spent the last 20 years advising, counseling, litigating, and trying cases on behalf of small, mid-sized, and fortune 100 and 500 companies, first at a national law firm, working primarily with the franchise team in the complex commercial litigation group, where I was first exposed to the workings of the automobile industry, and then at a boutique litigation firm and as a sole practitioner, where I first started working with DCD dealerships. Part of my practice has also included representing low-income tenants, pro bono, in eviction cases across Massachusetts, a passion I have had since law school.
I was born and raised on the North Shore of Massachusetts. I spent a few years living on the west coast and abroad, but I have been a proud Bostonian for the last 25 years where I currently live with my husband and two active teenage boys. In my free time, I enjoy watching my boys play soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, hiking with my dog, and traveling with my family. I am thrilled to be part of the dynamic and growing DCD family.
