Karen Fisher
The automotive industry has played an important role in my life. I began working in the finance department for my father’s dealership while attending college. I continued my career part-time on the weekends while raising my three sons. When my boys went off to college, I worked more and became the Finance Director.
The foundation and life lessons I gained from the industry have guided me in many ways. Working for my family set the premise for my core values of loyalty and hard work, which I hold dear to this day. My husband, lifelong friends, professional accomplishments, and countless experiences all stem from the auto industry which I am truly grateful for.
For more than twenty years, I worked for two prominent dealer groups in the Boston area after my father's untimely passing in 2000’. I pride myself on transparency, integrity, and being ranked in the top tier of a competitive environment. Being featured in F&I Magazine was an accomplishment that also helped me develop valuable marketing skills and sales tools that provide a seamless approach for the customer experience.
In my role as Corporate Training Director for DCD Automotive, I embrace all of the lessons I have learned from my successful finance career into helping others achieve their own goals. As an AFIP Certified professional, my passion for compliance and conducting business correctly drives the training curriculum for our teammates. I am most proud of implementing processes that provide legalities along with profit, equally.
My personal time always involves family. I can be found hiking with my dogs Jules and Luna, mountain biking, or boating with my husband and sons at Lake Winnipesaukee.
